Digital Skills Development Centre

The Digital Skills Development Centre is a SING Nigeria project set up to empower children and young adults in Opume and neighbouring communities with digital skills training at basic, intermediate, and advanced levels. The centre gives opportunities to young people to build digital competencies that can generate income and give them the opportunities to become solution providers in the society. It also acts as a platform where young people can productively interact and build soft skills like critical thinking and team work thereby reducing the scourge of youth restiveness and crime, unemployment and violence that has characterized youths in this region. The centre is a high standard facility equipped with world class computer systems and learning aids, with vastly experienced trainers who are committed to moulding the minds of the future.

Timeline: Each level of training takes a duration of 3 months to complete
Location: Opume Community in Ogbia LGA, Bayelsa State, Nigeria.
